Getting started
What is ChirpHop?+
ChirpHop is a team workspace for managing WhatsApp chats, groups, contacts, tickets and campaigns. It brings conversations and their follow-up work into one place.
Who is ChirpHop for?+
It is designed for support, sales and operations teams that coordinate customer and group conversations on WhatsApp. You can also begin as a single workspace owner and invite teammates later.
How do I create an account?+
Choose Get started, register with your email address and verify your email. Then open your workspace, review your available plan limits and connect your WhatsApp number.
What if my verification email does not arrive or the link expires?+
Check your spam folder and confirm your email address. Request a fresh verification email and use the newest link. Verification links expire after 30 minutes and work once; requesting another replaces the previous link. Contact support if delivery still fails.
Do I need to install an application?+
The hosted workspace runs in your browser. You need access to the WhatsApp account to approve its linked-device connection. A working internet connection is required for the workspace and connected messaging service.
Can I try ChirpHop before choosing a plan?+
New workspaces receive a 7-day free trial. The app's Billing Details section shows the trial expiry, available limits and subscription options for your workspace.
Numbers & connections
Can I connect multiple WhatsApp numbers?+
Yes. ChirpHop supports multiple messaging numbers within your account. Each connected number has its own messaging context, and you can switch between numbers in the workspace. The number of connections available depends on your plan.
Can different team members access different numbers?+
Yes. Workspace owners can manage member access to messaging numbers. Assign access according to the conversations each person should handle instead of giving every teammate access to every number.
Are conversations from different numbers kept separate?+
The workspace scopes chats, groups, contacts and messaging actions to the selected number. Always check the number selector before sending a message or starting a campaign.
How do I connect a WhatsApp number?+
Open General Messaging and the Connection view. Start the connection and scan the QR code using WhatsApp's Linked devices controls on the account you want to connect. Wait for the connected status, then sync groups and contacts.
What if the QR code expires or does not connect?+
Refresh the connection to obtain a new QR code, confirm you are scanning it from the correct WhatsApp account and check network connectivity. If it still fails, capture the connection error and contact support. Do not share the QR code publicly.
What is the difference between disconnecting and logging out?+
Disconnect stops the current connection while retaining the saved session for reconnection where possible. Log out attempts to unlink the saved session and normally requires a new QR scan. Confirm unlinking from WhatsApp's Linked devices if the app reports that logout could not be confirmed.
Will I ever need to scan the QR code again?+
Yes. A revoked or expired session, changes to the linked account or a session recovery failure may require another QR scan. Saved sessions improve reconnection but do not guarantee that WhatsApp will keep a device linked indefinitely.
Is General Messaging the official WhatsApp Business API?+
No. General Messaging uses a linked-device connection. The official WhatsApp Business Platform workspace is planned; contact us to confirm availability before relying on it. ChirpHop is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.
How many numbers and team members can I add?+
Limits depend on the selected plan. Review Billing Details for the limits that apply to your workspace. Pending invitations reserve team slots, and the owner is not counted as an additional team member. There is no promise of unlimited connections.
Chats & groups
Does ChirpHop support group conversations?+
Yes. General Messaging lets you work with linked WhatsApp groups as well as individual contacts. You can filter the chat list by conversation type and manage group-related work from the workspace.
Can I create a WhatsApp group or add a contact?+
Authorized users can create a group or add a contact from Chats when message sending is enabled. Group invitations and participant additions remain subject to WhatsApp behavior and participant privacy settings.
Can I send attachments?+
General Messaging supports sending JPEG and PNG images, MP4 video and PDF documents from the chat composer. The current upload limit is 16 MB. Supported media may also be viewed or downloaded from available messages, subject to availability and preview limits.
Can I react to messages?+
Authorized users can open the message context menu and choose one of the available reactions, or remove their reaction. The linked number must be connected and message sending enabled.
Will all historical messages be visible?+
Only history available to the linked WhatsApp session can be loaded. The chat initially loads recent messages and offers Load older messages within the current history limit. ChirpHop does not promise a complete historical archive.
Why might a contact appear as a number instead of a name?+
The current chat list uses names available in WhatsApp's cached chat data. If those names are missing or have not synchronized, a number or WhatsApp identifier may appear even if the contact is saved elsewhere. Sync contacts and refresh chats; contact support if it persists.
Can I search or export a chat?+
The updated chat options include search and text export for currently loaded messages, plus a view of their media and links. These are not a full-history backup. Availability depends on whether the latest application update has been deployed.
Can I make voice or video calls through ChirpHop?+
Voice and video calling are not currently implemented in the ChirpHop workspace. Use WhatsApp's own supported calling experience when needed.
Are blocking, muting and disappearing messages available?+
These settings are not currently implemented in ChirpHop's chat menu. Manage them through WhatsApp. Availability of such controls in WhatsApp does not mean ChirpHop exposes them.
Tickets & teamwork
Can I create a ticket from a conversation?+
Yes. Use Add ticket for a contact or group, enter the description, assign a team member and choose priority and status. This connects the follow-up work to the conversation context.
Which ticket statuses and priorities are available?+
Ticket statuses are Open, In Progress, Resolved and Closed. Priorities are Low, Normal, High and Urgent. Update them as work progresses so the team can see what needs attention.
Who can a ticket be assigned to?+
Choose an eligible team member with access to the ticket's messaging number. This keeps the work within the team authorized to handle that number.
Can I see a ticket's updates and changes?+
Yes. Ticket activity records updates and changes such as status, priority and assignment, with an author and date. The updated ticket view places the newest activity first.
How do I invite teammates?+
Open Manage Team and invite colleagues using their email addresses. The invitation must be accepted by the intended account, and member limits must allow the additional slot. Manage number access after adding the member.
Does ChirpHop offer AI replies or automatic ticket assignment?+
AI-generated replies, an autonomous AI agent and automatic ticket assignment are not currently part of the described product. The current ticket workflow uses explicit assignments and team updates.
Campaigns & templates
What can I do with campaigns?+
Prepare messages for selected groups or contacts, use templates and review progress and reports. Check the selected number, recipient permissions and message content before starting a campaign.
Can I schedule a campaign?+
The campaign workflow supports scheduling. Sending depends on an operational server, an active linked number and the administrator's campaign-sending setting. A scheduled time is not a delivery guarantee.
Can I reuse message templates?+
Yes. Templates let you prepare reusable message content for your workflow. General Messaging templates are separate from approved templates required by the official WhatsApp Business Platform.
Does Submitted mean a message was delivered?+
No. Submission means the integration returned a message identifier or accepted the send. Delivery and reading are separate outcomes. Review available status information and check the conversation when an outcome is uncertain.
What should I do if a send outcome is uncertain?+
Check the recipient conversation before retrying. A message may have been sent even if confirmation was interrupted. Blindly resending can create duplicates.
Why does the app say message or campaign sending is disabled?+
The site administrator controls message sending and campaign sending separately. Check the linked number's connection and ask your administrator about the relevant setting. Saving a campaign does not guarantee that sending is enabled.
Can I send messages to any number I import?+
Only message people you are authorized to contact and comply with WhatsApp's rules and applicable requirements. Importing a contact does not establish permission to message them. Honor requests to stop receiving messages.
Security & data
Are my chats saved on ChirpHop's server?+
General Messaging reads chat history from the linked WhatsApp session rather than maintaining a separate application chat-history table. However, the linked browser runs on the server, and its session files can contain cached WhatsApp data. Session files may be retained or backed up to keep the number connected. A blanket claim that no chats are ever saved on the server would therefore be inaccurate.
How do messages pass between me and WhatsApp?+
Your browser requests chats or submits a message to ChirpHop's server. The server uses the authorized linked WhatsApp session to retrieve or send it, and returns the result to your browser. ChirpHop therefore handles message content during processing; this is not a direct browser-to-WhatsApp connection that bypasses the server.
What information does ChirpHop store?+
The service stores records needed for accounts, workspaces, member access, contacts, groups, tickets and ticket updates, templates, campaign content and reports, billing and authentication. Uploaded files and linked-session data may also be stored. Consult the privacy policy and contact the operator for deployment-specific retention details.
Why are linked-device sessions stored or backed up?+
A saved session lets the service reconnect without asking you to scan a QR code after every restart. Depending on deployment, session data is stored locally or as an encrypted backup. Session storage may include cached WhatsApp data and must be treated as sensitive.
Is stored sensitive data encrypted?+
The application includes encryption for stored attachments and remote linked-session backups when those storage modes are used. Connection secrets also use configured protection. Deployment settings, filesystem permissions and encryption-key management matter; this is not a claim that every field or every local file is encrypted.
Who can see conversations in my workspace?+
Access is governed by workspace membership and messaging-number permissions. Team members with access to a number can view its conversations according to their role. Do not assume that chats are private from authorized coworkers or the service operator; ask about administrative access if your organization has specific requirements.
Do teammates need my WhatsApp password or QR code?+
Teammates sign in to their own ChirpHop accounts and use the access you grant. Approve the linked device yourself from the intended WhatsApp account. Do not share account passwords, verification codes, session files or QR codes with unauthorized people.
How do I request deletion of my data?+
Use the Data deletion link in the footer and contact the operator from your registered email address. Include your workspace and the records you want removed. Identity, authority, shared records and any retained backups must be reviewed. Disconnecting a number does not automatically erase all stored data.
How long is data retained?+
A universal automatic deletion period is not currently published for all records. Retention depends on the record type and deployment. Ask the operator for a written retention and backup policy before relying on a particular deletion deadline.
Would the official API use the same storage behavior?+
No. The official messaging code uses stored message records to support its inbox and sending workflow. General Messaging's linked-session behavior must not be taken as a promise about the planned official API workspace. Confirm availability and its data policy before use.
Plans & support
Where can I see prices and plan limits?+
Open Billing Details in the app for the current plans, prices, connection limits and team limits. The website does not quote fixed prices because the app is the source for available plans.
Are subscriptions renewed automatically?+
The current subscription workflow uses manual monthly or yearly renewals. Review your paid-through date in Billing Details and renew before access expires. Confirm the payment status in the app after checkout.
Does my subscription include WhatsApp or Meta charges?+
Your ChirpHop subscription pays for application access and its plan limits. Any applicable charges from Meta or other providers are separate. Confirm the connection method and provider billing before use.
What is the refund policy?+
Contact the operator with the payment reference to discuss a billing issue. A universal refund guarantee is not published on this page; review the applicable terms before purchasing.
What if I forget my password?+
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen and follow the recovery instructions sent to the account's configured email. Use the latest recovery link and never share it with others.
What should I check if chats stop loading?+
Confirm your internet connection, the selected number and its connected status. Refresh chats after WhatsApp finishes syncing. If the linked session was revoked, reconnect it. Share the error text and time with support, without including passwords or verification codes.
Can ChirpHop run on a VPS or Windows Server?+
The application has deployment support for a server running Node.js, a supported browser and SQL Server. A production installation also needs HTTPS, protected storage, service restarts and backups. Contact us to discuss deployment requirements; this is not a self-service managed-hosting offer.
How do I contact the ChirpHop team?+
Email kamal@protologicsln.com with your workspace name, the affected number where appropriate and a description of the issue. For a demo, describe your team size and how you use WhatsApp. Never send passwords, secrets or one-time codes.
